DOING OUR BEST
Doing Our Best session can help you as a Commissioner to work with units to identify and celebrate good practice, and can help leaders identify areas for improvements. It will introduce you to activities that you can use at district/division meetings and will introduce you to the three checklists on the Five Essentials, Safety and Safeguarding and Making Guiding Happen.

GROWING GUIDING
This session will provide you with ideas and methods for recruiting more adult volunteers into Girlguiding. During the session you will have the opportunity to understand the needs and motivation of volunteers. How to promote guiding to different audiences. Identify ways to plan recruitment. Understand how to be more flexible and inclusive with recruiting volunteers. Look at what support unit leaders
will need to resume face to face meetings.

GDPR
Our GDPR session will help you understand how to safely work with personal information. The training covers what you need to know about data protection in the UK, and looks at how the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) affects your role in guiding.
